So 40k 6th Edition has come and with it the urge to paint and collect an army again.  I've gone for pretty much the only army I've not collected before - Dark Angels.

  They're looking good so far - next up will be a Librarian conversion using Grey Knight parts and hopefully some form or Ravenwing goodness!

Commission Work and Updates

Once again its been a while, however I come bearing gifts... and by gifts I mean pictures!  I've been doing some commission work mostly Warmachine of late.  Therefore I'm pleased to show off some Cygnar Rangers as well as a Demigryph I completed earlier.

  Hi guys!

  I will be posting some new shots of my completed Irongut, as well as the progress on my Thundertusk.  I'm really happy with the way they turned out, much lighter than my normal dark painting.  I've also got a surprise lined up with RRR - the completed models will be revealed at a later point!

Whats big, fat and crazy... Why my ogres!

Just got started on my Ogre Kingdoms which I picked up in Nottingham with the boyz.  The models have come a really long way since the first time round and they're a lot of fun to convert/build.  From top to bottom you have my Thundertusk, Ironguts, Ghor the Huntsman and my Mournfang.  Ghor is my leader, and will be a bruiser for now - his story revolves around being the greatest hunter ever, so expect plenty of beasts and beast-like things!

Alright Squire!

To continue picture updates here is my Squire for Cygnar.  The picture is a little bit rough but the idea is there.  He matches the colour scheme of striker and the others from before.  Hopefully I'll get a better picture of him later when I also capture the Sword Knights!

Dark Elves

And since I'm in the sharing and caring mood - I've also finished 4 of my Dark Elf Corsairs!

Minotaurs!

Finally got round to uploading pictures of my Minotaurs in daylight!  Currently have 2 squads, HQ and transport complete.  As you can see - there is a heavy Forgeworld influence!

So after a long sojourn I'm back with the first complete model of the New Year!  I've finished the Deimos pattern Rhino gifted to me by my lovely wife in the colours of my new Chapter "Sons of Cretos" (possibly changing!).  The theme is greek (hence the ice blue/white), heresy/pre-heresy era gear and minotaurs iconography!  Let me know what you think!
